Grant Applications Available

The Zonta Club of Marquette Area will be accepting grant requests from local nonprofit organizations through January 31. In determining awards, high priority is given to programs that improve the status of women by addressing the issues of economic self-sufficiency, legislative equality, and access to education, health, and nutrition. Proceeds from the Club’s annual sale of Koeze nuts and Rose sale have been used to award grants to a wide variety of programs and agencies since 1972. Grants will be awarded in increments of $250. Past grants have ranged from $250 to $1,000.
